The HK 417D, based on the HK 416, is a DMR-type rifle in a short version chambered in 7.62 created and put into service by the firm Heckler & Koch in 2005. It is used by the GIGN, the French marine commandos and the British SAS, among others.
Distributed by Umarex, this replica is produced by the renowned manufacturer Vega Force Company (VFC). There's a stunning full metal finish that lives up to the brand's reputation.
Weighing in at just 3.6 kg, it's guaranteed to feel realistic in the field. Featuring an ergonomic pistol grip and a rubber grip tip, it's very comfortable to hold. On the sides of the replica are the original finely screen-printed "Heckler and Koch" markings.
Internally, there are 8mm metal bushings as well as a version 2.2 gearbox made up of three parts and a long-axis High Torque motor. The hop-up is adjustable via the functional Bolt Catch. This V2 version has an integrated protection mosfet.
You'll be able to integrate various sights via the large Picatinny rail at the top of the replica. The three other rails on the sides and bottom will give you the option of adding various accessories. This replica comes with a Mid-cap 100-round polymer magazine with exposed dummy 7.62mm cartridges, for added realism.
