At OPS-Store, specialists in airsoft in France, we offer you a wide range of replicas for practising airsoft in the best conditions according to your needs and desires.
Before making your final choice, it's worth knowing that airsoft replicas fall into two main categories: primary replicas, which include AEGs and snipers, and secondary replicas such as handguns (PAs) and shotguns.
In terms of propulsion systems, there are three main categories of ball-propelled replica for airsoft. Some are powered by electricity (AEG), others by gas (CO2, air, propane, etc.) and some by a spring.
Depending on the type of propulsion you choose, you'll find a wide range of functions and game sensations.
In France, OPS-Store is also a specialist in upgrading airsoft replicas.
Our dedicated workshop can optimise and improve the internal and external components of replicas to improve their responsiveness, range and rate of fire, for example.
You can also find all the custom and full upgrade airsoft replicas from the OPS-Store workshop, straight from the imagination of our technicians.
TYPES OF REPLICA |
Electric
AEG replicas that operate with an electric system, powered by different types of batteries.
The main systems are AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) for long replicas and AEP (Automatic Electric Pistol) for hand-held models (PA).
The difference between an AEP replica and a long AEG replica is that the AEG is generally more powerful and has a different format than the AEP. The main advantages of AEG and AEP systems are their large ammunition capacity and excellent rate of fire. This is why this type of replica most often has an automatic firing mode.
Moreover, electric systems require much less maintenance than gas and spring-loaded replicas.
Gas / CO2 / Air
Replicas powered by gas cylinders or CO2 cartridges. There is also models that run on compressed air, known as HPA (High Pressure Air) replicas.
Gas and CO2 powered models gives you a highly realistic gaming experience, thanks in particular to Blowback. This system allows you to feel the breech recoil to a greater or lesser extent as you shoot, just like in real models.
You'll need to reload your replicas with your own gas cylinders, 12g CO2 cartridges and air cylinders.
The management of your pellets is more realistic because you have to reload your replicas more often during your games. It is therefore advisable to have several spare magazines on hand.
Spring
Finally, spring-loaded replicas require manual reloading, usually via a cocking lever, which gives you a realistic feel when loading.
They are used on sniper-type replicas and hand-held replicas.
Spring handguns are often considered 'entry-level' because of their rudimentary design.
